Outlaw Saddlebag Tobacco

The life of an outlaw is dictated by how much of a departure is their way of life from the norms of the world. It is someone who doesn’t want to be caged in by the rules of man. The outlaw saddlebag is then, something that shouldn’t be made to follow any rules.

It is a messenger bag gone rogue into the realm of motorcycles and easy riding. It is still a conventional messenger by heart, if it drank beer for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Forged with our classic old school design philosophy, that believes in crafting goods for years of use and abuse. The inception of the bag then, stems from an outlaw thought in todays world of fast fashion.

The Saddlebag packs more than a weekend getaway. It can also be used as a daily messenger bag and can accommodate a 15” laptop. The laptop compartment is located in the front to prevent it from damage when mounted on a motorcycle. The bag also contains a few internal pockets to stack in small items and hang your keys.

The bag mounts of almost all motorcycles with a rear frame. We recommend having a pannier stay though it is not mandatory.

  • Easy to mount on and off the motorcycle in a matter of seconds
  • Classic Roll Top Design that’s allows flexibility of storing capacity

  • Comes equipped with a leather shoulder strap, custom mounts and a rain cover

Good Quality Leather Bag - But worst rain cover

The build quilty and leather quality are really awesome. I was confident to travel around 1200Km not to adjust the bag. But the rain cover was torn off when received the bag and check it for the first time. So I was given one star less.

Faithful to the pictures - Caution to import taxes

I've just received the outlaw saddlebag. It looks very well and strong. It's easy to install on my RE Continental GT 650 using video mounting instructions. Rain protection seems strong, and cover both sides of the saddlebag. Just two things which I think would make this bag even better: 1- Add a small pocket (for keys, wallet, phone) 2- Modify the mounting system to make the installation and removing even quicker. For French customer, (and maybe any European), caution to taxes at boarder. For me it was about 25% of the purchase amount. PS: Thanks to Trip machine for their help with the shipment issues.

Lovely bags, best customer service

The bags are excellent quality. They come with mounting straps, a shoulder strap, and a protective cover. I have to say, I wasn't expecting to be mounting the bags to my seat with straps, but it works just fine. I do recommend using pannier rails to keep the bags away from the tire and exhaust depending on your bike. The straps that come with the bags are too short to be able to secure them to the stock 2021 Bonneville T120 Black seat. The seat is too thick for the length of the the straps, so I couldn't actually mount the bags. I emailed customer service about this and they made me some longer straps and shipped them to me for free after I provided some images of the problem. Really amazing customer service.

Good buy for RE twins

I don't need to write much about the quality of TripMachine products since they have already established themselves on that front and set the bar very high. So no doubt the quality of the product is very good both in terms of strength and finesse. I also really appreciate the gesture of sending a letter in the package, explaining the delay along with a TM key chain. This is a must-buy for folks looking for premium quality saddlebags for the Royal Enfield Interceptor or Continental GT 650, since these are the only ones that accommodate the upswept exhausts of the RE twins. I bought this for my RE Continental GT650 and not only is the bag at a safe distance from the super-hot stock exhausts but also look pretty cool on the White Ice Queen model. The 2 things that were a tad bit disappointing were: 1) The color of the product - which I understand may be different marginally from what is shared on the website, since this is a natural product and thus may vary due to the skin's own natural patterns. The bag I got has these small dull black spots almost throughout the bag that I believe are like I said, naturally occurring but not what I had in mind, however this not a show stopper. 2) The mounting system on the outlaw saddlebag is not what I had expected, more so since it is not called out on the product page explicitly - unlike how it is for the Backpack Pannier which has a "how to mount" video on the product page. I later realized the video is available however not on the product page but on the Hybrid Saddlebags page, which is not very intuitive and like me others would miss it too. The Outlaw Saddlebag has 2 adjustable straps that one needs to unloop and secure the bag with, coupled with a dog hook which for sure makes the mounting very secure and sturdy since the bag is mounted on 4 points, however, makes it quite a process especially if one intends to unmount the bag like me, every time they park the bike outside or even at home and makes it furthermore awkward if the bag has stuff inside it, to unsecure and then secure the adjustable straps every time one mounts or unmounts the bag. In the absence of a "how to" video, I assumed the mechanism to be the same and as straightforward (dog hooks only) as it was demonstrated for the Backpack Pannier. This one is a bummer but I am not complaining (I might be...just a little bit though), since the more secure mounting I think will increase the durability of the bag. TM however, should provide mounting video on the product page so that customers can take an informed decision.
