The product seems good ( have installed it only couple of hours back). However a couple of suggestions/observations: 1. The leather seems to be a little dry and hence a little cracked where the folds are. Not sure if mine was an old piece or this is how it is. 2. The leather strips should be folded just before shipping. This will prevent the above cracks as mentioned and also stop the 3M tape at the reverse to stay uniform, which should help during installation.
What an awesome product! I'd add photos if I could. This is a pure class product and adds an extra level of beauty to my Royal Enfield Interceptor. Quality leather, easy to wrap on with a little practice. Attention to detail is superb, with the name embossed on the leather and beautifully boxed. One piece of advice of to ditch the super glue and just supply a little extra bit of 3M tape to finish the ends.
Very nice and easy to setup. A Good and fashionable product for my Moto Guzzi V7 Racer
The packaging was amazing. It was a joy to see the thought process behind the well packaged box. As for the product itself, The Wraps were good to use and gives the bike a nice look.
My experience in ordering from TripMachine was a smooth one. It did seem to take a bit longer than I expected to arrive. However, the packaging was nice, classy, and the presentation in the packaging was extremely well done. With the convenience of "online ordering" in today's society it seems many have forgotten the art of presentation. TripMachine does not! You can see pride in the product just from the packaging. I ordered my grips in March 2019 and wanted to wait for a good bit of riding to really be able to review the product. 1) If you've never wrapped your grips before, watch the video - it helps. 2) If you make a mistake, back if off a little and try again. I had to do this a couple times since I'd never wrapped grips before. 3) They look amazing on the grips for my White Kawasaki Vulcan 650S. 4) The grip wraps accomplished what I was hoping for - a pop of color and a tiny bit of thickening to the scrawny stock grips. 5) They do work well with leather gloves and enhance the grip to reduce hand fatigue. They reduce the vibration and that helps as well. I wouldn't mind if the wraps were a hair thicker but I do love them! Also, if you've got brand new mesh gloves they're a bit slick until you've "seasoned" the gloves but then all is good. (yes this happened to me - I conditioned the palm of the glove and then all was good) 6) I waited this long to review to say - LOVE THE GRIPS! I've only gotten in about 1500 miles since purchasing the bike, about 1000 with the grips. The are a quality made product and I am super happy. In fact, I am getting a custom seat done for my bike and the grips are part of the inspiration. I am super happy with the customer service received throughout the process of waiting for my order to arrive. I absolutely recommend the grip wraps from TripMachine. I hope to one day try the coordinating tank bag.
